Inquiries from prospective new members are always welcome!

We are currently particularly keen to hear from BASSOON, OBOE AND HORN players. As well as all STRING PLAYERS.

Rehearsals are held weekly during term time on Thursdays from 9.45am to 12.00 noon at the Woolston Club, 43 Hargood Street in Woolston, Christchurch. We rehearse for two hours and socialise over a cup of tea or coffee halfway through the rehearsal.

Rehearsals focus on presenting two formal concerts each year, and we also undertake additional activities such as visiting schools and performing for rest home and retirement village residents at the Woolston Club premises.

We do not ask prospective new members to audition. Instead new members are on trial for a month and all members are required to pay an annual subscription.
